[Trac] Categories in trac

2007-07-05 Thread Simon Martin

Hi,

I would like to structure my wiki with categories like wikipedia.org.
I've tried HierWikiPlugin, but I'm not so satisfied, because the
hierarchy structure is very strict.
So I would like to sort my articles with categories.

Is there any plugin? I've searched already at trac-hacks.org, but I
didn't find any (maybe I'm just blind :)

Maybe TagsPlugin is for you, categorisation is exactly the purpose of this

[Trac] How to change absolute value of priority's order?

2007-07-05 Thread Alexander Belchenko

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Trac 10.4 + WebAdmin.

I suddenly remove with WebAdmin item blocker from priority list.
But other elements stay with the same absolute order values,
i.e. 'critical' is 2, 'major' is 3 and so on.
But now I can't change none of their order value to 1.
WebAdmin show only numbers 2 to 5 in drop-down list,
and I can't enter value by hands.

I try with trac-admin utility, but this utility allow
only change order in terms up/down and keep absolute
order values in the same range.

As I understand, absolute order values used for coloring
tickets in various reports. So it's important question
for me, what to do to change them.

Help?

[Trac] Trac authentication using Zimbra LDAP server

2007-07-05 Thread [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi
I have been using Trac using .htpasswd and I am trying to move the
authentication to use the Zimbra LDAP server. Zimbra mail server has
already been setup and I am trying to use that

I use the value of AuthLDAPURL ldap://192.168.1.11/dc=zimbra,dc=com?
uid?sub?(objectClass=*)

I suspect that this LDAP URL is wrong . Has somebody used this
configuration and if so can you post the AuthLDAPURL to paste

 [logging]
 log_file = trac.log
 log_level = DEBUG

Then I restarted trac service, but file /path/to/trac/environment/log/

Trac is working for some time on our server (we entered about 60
tickets) but I can not turn on logging which I need for the next step
 email notification to set up.

 Any ideas,
 Thanks in advance.

I don't know Zimbra, but it seems weird that your local server uses a
zimbra.com base dn.
?(objectClass=*) brings no information, so you can remove it. It
does not hurt, though.

Which version of Apache are you using?

log directory exists, there are some log files like stderr.log and
stdout.log, they were created by tracd when running it from command
line
if you create it manually and
give the service r/w permission does it still fail?
there are all permissions granted for Administrator so that should be
alright, and as I sad we have been using trac for about month and no
permission problems occured.

The libraries on Subversion web site are the SWIG ones.
SWIG is a tool to help building wrapper from C/C++ libraries to other
languages (Java, Perl, Python, ...)
Subversion is using SWIG to build the Python wrapper that Trac requires.

The other python library for SVN (pysvn) is not supported (this is a
native library, which is part of another project).

[Trac] Re: where can I get libsvn ?

2007-07-05 Thread Tom Malia

OK, I was definitely confused by something on some websitesomewhere

I've downloaded that zip and extracted the svn and libsvn folders to the
Python LIB folder

Now I'm still getting the message in Trac that Subversion is not a supported
version control system.

Also when I try to import svn.core from the python command prompt It is now
puking on line 5 of the libsvn.core file which tries to load _core

I found _core.dll in the library directory and copied it to the Python DLL
directory and to my WinNT\System32 directory but I still get the error

Any other ideas?

Well, it's really hard to say anything without having a better idea of
what it is you're trying to do, but as Trac is written in Python you

2007/7/6, Tom Malia [EMAIL PROTECTED]:

OK, I was definitely confused by something on some websitesomewhere

I've downloaded that zip and extracted the svn and libsvn folders to the
 Python LIB folder

svn-win32-x.x.x_pyxx.zip does not contains DLLs which are required to use
python bindings.

I recommend to use svn-python-x.x.x.win32-pyx.x.exe to install.
It can be get from same place of svn-win32-x.x.x_pyxx.zip files.
It will install required DLLs into libsvn directories.
Note that bindings will be installed under $PYTHON/lib/site-packages/
So don't forget removing lib/libsvn and lib/svn copied by yourself.
