I reinstalled and the problem went away. Not sure what happened but all is
ok for now.

Subject: [Trac] login not working properly for me
I'm new at trac and just installed it on Apache 2.2 with mod_wsgi on
OpenSUSE which also has svn running. I can browse the repo in Trac and
read the pages.
Login accepts miked credentials but doesn't display the Admin tab. Nor
can I start a new wiki page.
miked has all the permissions (via add TRAC_ADMIN)
The log seems to think it is the anonymous user despite log saying
"Retrieving session for ID 'miked'". So the login obviously didn't
succeed.
I tried requiring a valid user for and clicked the
Browser tab instead of Login. This prompted a login and accepted my
credentials and showed me the Admin tab but raised an error ...
Error: Not Found
No administration panels available
Any pointers will be appreciated

Please no, don't do that.
Trac's Subversion repository isn't a very big one, but it's >10k
changesets nevertheless and doing yourself such a conversion over
the wire will be slow and will possible also load our server
(especially more people start to do this...)
That's why we created official mirrors for hg and git, please use

[Trac] session table and session_attribute table with many records
Hello, I the company where I work we are using trac 0.11.7 We are getting many database locks and it is really slow when someone tries to log in. I was thinking of truncating and regenerating the table session and session_attribute. Should take some considerations before doing this? [Trac] Update from 0.11 to 0.12 on Ubuntu
Is there any step-by-step directions how to do that? When I try to do this manually I got into troubles during upgrade process and never was able to finish it, so I need to uninstall 0.12 and get 0.11 (Ubuntu package) back to have working version of Trac. Looks like you somehow checked out a *really* old revision there by
mistake, not 0.13. Try "svn up" to update. 0.13 should work just fine
without Subversion bindings.

IIRC, svn was only mandatory up to Trac 0.10.x, but 0.11 could already

Today I could make more tests, and it looks quite similar as in the case of comments: Put 1 second sleep time between successive calls of putAttachment(), and anything works fine. I think something happens on the long way xmlrpc -> apache -> mod_wsgi -> trac -> sqlite3. I do not found the link just now, but it was also not possible to put several comments without pauses, a strange data base error occured. The solution in those discussion was the same: time.sleep(1) between calls. However, this error also occured with tracd whereas the attachment error only raises when apache is used. I have neither time, nor knowledge, nor possibility to analyze the reason - but should we put a warning in the RPC documentation? This would save many people much time ...
