A project local TracWysiwyg plugin perhaps?

Hope this helps,

[Trac] Best Practices using TRAC

2012-03-25 Thread Diogenes Vitali

Hello Everybody,

I´m new using the Trac program and i would like to now some best practices
using Trac.

I have installed TRAC 0.12 with PostgreSQL and some plugins (MainTickets,
Time And Estimation, Subtickets, JSGant, etc).

I have a ten years software and i will use the Trac to managing the
developing of new features about this and the whole developer team tasks.

I would like to have guides in wikis about the releases that i will have in
the same trac project each one with your new features things.

The question is, can i bind the milestones with the wikis, and i have the
wiki for that milestone and the new things of other future milestone
incorporate the last wikis to change, this way i could read the guide for
each milestone without rewrite the wiki.

Another question is can i bind some ticket with some wiki for when i will
close the ticket the content of this ticket becomes a wiki or incorporate
that wiki?

What is the best way to manaing projects and wiki guides of this projects in
situations like these?

I have some project with some features and the wiki describing how to use
this software version 1.0.1 .
I have planned some milestone to add new features and change others features
in a new version 2.0.

I would like to inherited the wikis for this new milestone and add/change
the new features description in this wiki for the users can choose the
option of what version its would like to see the wiki (guide).

I have some Forms in my application too that i would like to know about the
every tickets that mention this forms, i cant use the component in the
ticket because one ticket could involved a lot of forms, then i need some
way to mention this forms to do some report about this.

Could someone help me with this question?

Tks
