I switched to a ready-made configuration using fcgi when needing https,
so I have no own experience with tracd specifically.

But I guess you'll get a clue what is going wrong by reading the DEBUG
log [1] of such a mis-redirected request. Did you try that already?

[Trac] use_base_url_for_redirect= true don't work

2014-03-04 Thread Arik Pshedezki
I try to use trac standalone (tracd) with stunnel to connect with https.
I acted similar to this manual:
http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/STunnelTracd

Now it work but when i save something, make a login or logout, etc The
track redirect me to url of http and not https (what lead to

"The requested URL /stunnel1 was not found on this server." message)
.

That problem was described here
http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/6472

I tried their solution- to add in trac.ini
in section [trac] the row
use_base_url_for_redirect= true
and set the base url to begin in https

but it did not help.

I used first in 0.12 and then upgraded to 1.0- the problem was in their both

Can someone help?
