Hi,
I am new to Pootle administration and have run into a small issue with
the names of the PO files in one of my projects. I searched this
mailing list a bit and could not find an answer, so I decided to
write.
In one of the projects on my Pootle server, named Scratch, I added a
new language, Arabic, via the Pootle interface. Since a Scratch.pot
file existed in the Scratch project directory, that was used as the
template for the file.
Therefore, the PO file that got created was:
/pootle/po/scratch/ar/Scratch.po
However, I then decided that instead I wanted to create the default
template file outside of Pootle, and commit it via SVN which is linked
to Pootle. So, I removed the Arabic folder within Pootle Scratch
entirely and created this new file outside of Pootle:
ar.po
I then committed this file to SVN and updated the /pootle/po/scratch/
repository so that it aquired this new ar.po file in the following
location:
/pootle/po/scratch/ar/ar.po
However, when I go to the Pootle interface, I see the label
'Scratch.po' instead of 'ar.po', and it's an empty file. Scratch.po
does not actually exist as a file anywhere in the Pootle filesystem,
but it still insists in showing me that on the web interface, instead
of showing me the newer ar.po file.
Does anyone understand what is going on?
Please let me know if I should clarify the question, thank you!
Thanks in advance.
Evelyn
