The file was created with an internal tool which extracts wiki content and creates English xliff file. I've asked to a developer of the tool if xml:space="preserve" should be kept. I'll let you know once I get a reply. If the file specifies xml:space="default", can we ignore the whitespaces and with applying modified TT codes? Or shall we need any other setting or condition? Hi, I uploaded some xliff files to a Pootle server and have tested them. In the online translation page, I can see lots of spaces are displayed, which are confusing during translation. Hi JiHui, Suggestions are save in a separate file for each po file in Pootle. I can see many suggestion files were created yesterday in the OO.o Pootle. I guess that you uploaded the zip file with merge at least once? Once suggestion files are created, Pootle displays suggestions. Hi, It seems that search by phrase doesn't work in Pootle 1.2. For example, if I execute search with 'pootle server', the result lists all strings which contains 'pootle' or 'server'. How can I get strings only contains 'pootle server'? Hi Friedel, Wynand, Do you have any clue regarding this issue? I'd like to solve the issue asap so that I can upgrade the OO.o Pootle server before adding several new languages. Thank you Urso for pointing the issue. The symptom described in the issue is same with my case. However I don't use servertype option, but on.y use port parameter. Hope to find out a clue soon. I'm not sure if it's an encoding issue because I copied the po files from the current working OO.o pootle server. regardless of Korean alphabetical ordering.

[translate-pootle] Statistics mismatch in different location
Hi, I found that sometimes there is statistics mismatch between top page of a project which lists all the language and the page of a specific language. I can see the problem in OO.o Pootle now: The statistics says Japanese still has 7345 untranslated words in the top page of the helpcontent2 project. http://sunvirtuallab.com:32300/projects/helpcontent2/ However, when I go into Japanese language, almost contents are marked as translated and the statistics is correct. I tried to clean all the .stats files from the server and regenerated statistics, however the problem still exist. What shall I have a look for this? Hi Owen, As Friedel has mentioned, Installing/running Pootle on Solaris doesn't have much difficulty. You can get some packages for some necessary softwares from blastwave.org or sunfreeware.com. Even if you can't find packages, you can simply compile what you need for yourself. Hi all, I have some questions regarding fuzzy matching and TM. - Which strings are regarded as fuzzy when running pot2po and what's the process? - If I have both .tm by running updatetm and terminology project, which one has higher priority? Or both of them are used as suggestion? - Is there any way to convert .tmx to .po? I can see po2tmx, but there is no tmx2po. Is there any way to upload only changed strings and have them merged with existing files on Pootle? When trying to upload, I can see two options - overwrite and merge. However both of them don't meet my need. :( If I select 'overwrite', whole existing files are replaced by the uploaded files which only include changed strings.
