They can state their opinions as many times as they like; Ruben installed the system because he trusted the community to be capable of dealing with it. he wrote repeatedly that one should NOT downvote opinions; just real, bold trolling. If you don't like somebody's opinion and he states it a few times, that doesn't mean it's trolling.

I have a Asus 1015E netbook. I have been able to use Debian and Ubuntu, with the only problem that I have to use EFI. Now, I would like to try Trisquel, but I ran into problems. I tried both the mini and 1.6GB isos of Triskel 7.0, burnt into an USB. When I try to boot, after selecting the option "run trisquel without installing" and spending some time in a screen with a fading triskel symbol, the computer does not respond. If I press ESC at the beginning of the boot, I can see many error messages like: can't umount /casper-rw-backing: Device or resource busy And other messages, but at some point everything stops and the screen goes black... Any idea of what could be happening?

You should downvote if you read something like "VIAGRA CHEAP SALE SALE SALE" or if somebody violates the community guidelines like "Hey, check out windows 10, here's my guide how to install it" or instults like "You +#+!"!??" you know what i mean... as I wrote: bold trolling/spam/violation of community guidelines. We're not dealing with any of those cases, so Jodiendo was downvoted unrightfully. If you care about the community and if you care about how the system is intended to be used, you will stop.

Hey guys! I am a new member to discuss for the first time in this thread. So anyways, is it possible to work the processor, graphics and drivers before testing and installing Trisquel via live boot on any laptops without operating system as the FreeDOS shipped from manufacturer?

sorry but i am not too sure what to do i recommend trying the manufacturer drivers mentioned by Legiment as posted here: https://trisquel.info/en/forum/brother-dcp-7055-printer#comment-64331 it may be a good idea to start a new post as i think i have reached the limits of how i can help and others probably will be-able to i hope you can get it working and i am sure others will know more than me

"is it possible to work the processor, graphics and drivers before testing and installing Trisquel" sorry what do you mean by that? do you mean will everything work with trisquel? if so we can tell you if you tell us what kind of hardware you have e.g laptop name/model and you can test if trisquel works with your computer by booting to a live usb/cd

Hi: I just installed Trisquel 7, and I have a couple of questions. For this post, can anyone suggest a weather app that works? 1.) There is no Weather panel applet. 2.) A search suggests the gnome-weather application, but I can't find it in synaptic. 3.) The Aniweather plug in for the Abrowser browser won't accept any new locations, even though the application seems to find and install them. Does anyone have another suggestion other than a bookmark? Thanks in advance.
