OK, Pale Moon is not Libre . . . but what about ABrowsers rendering problems
with the Intel cards?

Re: [Trisquel-users] Abrowser Trisquel 8 not rendering well

2018-09-24 Thread chrisotten2
Anyone figure out this issue . . . seems like a significant one with Abrowser
upgrade that others are having, even if its small group of us having it.

I'm running Trisquel on my Lenovo laptop 3000 c200 from 2007.

It's unusable on most websites with lots of scrolling now.

Its true, I did not have this problem with Trisquel 7, at all. Only after
upgrade.

Re: [Trisquel-users] Weird output when trying to update

2018-09-04 Thread chrisotten2

Thanks...

First it had to update the cache.
Then it said check Internet for software updates.
Then it downloaded a whole bunch of updates, particularly to Abrowser &
LibreOffice and something called libglib, as well as python, .

Re: [Trisquel-users] Belenos 7.0 partition set up issues

2016-02-07 Thread chrisotten2
20GB is a good sized root. It would seem when installing however, all of the
files /home /tmp etc are all put on this 20GB partition.

That means when saving files, it saves it to the root partition. As far as I
can tell the rest of the partitions are not accessed at all by my computer.

Strange, no? Never had this issue until the latest linux kernel upgrade.
