[Trisquel-users] Broken system after update

I installed updates. Then, many icons are "broken". I cannot screenshot it  
(error, 0 bytes).

Icons:
Folder: text file
TXT file: none
"Umount", many buttons, many objects: empty image.
Running application: window (default icon)
I need to restore system.
P. S. I speak Russian (for helpers).

Did you do do apt-get upgrade and your system broke? This might be because  
apt-get upgrade is dumb and will not resolve some new packages when it  
upgrades everything. It is much better to use apt-get dist-upgrade.

Yeah, do not use apt-get upgrade. Open Synaptic and choose "upgradeable" on  
the left side, or use update-manager.

Apt-get upgrade can sometimes break your install.

Hey! I had that same problem a while ago. There is no fix. I had to format  
and reinstall.
