maybe libreboot can't find the grub config file, renaming grub.cfg to  
grub_libreboot.cfg may help

I had this issue with my x200 librebooted by minifree. I never figured out  
what was the problem, and even Leah couldn't help me. After an update of  
libreboot it worked.

/vmlinuz is hardcoded path that old libreboot versions used as a fallback if  
no grub config is used. Upgrading libreboot should help, it also allows using  
more graphics memory.

This issue seems to affect other distros too. If anyone finds a fix, please  
submit a patch to libreboot's grub.cfg:

Note that manually booting works fine (e.g. linux /vmlinuz root=/dev/sda1,  
initrd /initrd.img) in most setups.

this is also present on other distros that i've tested. maybe even parabola.  
i'm not sure what causes it, but i'm aware of it. submit a bug report if one  
hasn't already been reported.
