RE: [TruthTalk] Boring/Not Boring?

I Cor 2: Even so the thoughts
of God no one knows except the Spirit of God.

 12Now
we (X)have received, not the spirit of (Y)the world, but the Spirit who is from
God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God,

 13which
things we also speak, (Z)not in words taught by human wisdom,
but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual
words.

 14But
a (AA)natural man (AB)does not accept the things of the
Spirit of God, for they are (AC)foolishness to him; and he cannot
understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.

As I read these verses this morning I
couldn’t help but think about TruthTalk.  So many pointless
arguments reign because of lack of understanding of these words here.  One
side argues from human “wisdom”; the other from the things of the
Spirit.  It is like trying to mix oil and water; futile. The result is
adolescent arguments about who insulted/ad hom’d/lied/prideful self-congratulations,
etc.  iz

 11When I was a child, I used to speak like a
child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away
with childish things.

12For now we (V)see in a mirror dimly, but then (W)face to face; now I know in part, but
then I will know fully just as I also (X)have been fully known.

13But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the
greatest of these is (Y)love. (I Cor 13)

Where would you get the idea that your "opinion" is humble
Lance when it is

anything but ... True
humility agrees with God and says what He says. Your

opinions are based upon
a lot of things -  never God's Word as revealed in scripture

to my knowledge. You
esteem those who believe they have to explain God rather

than believe on and
obey Him.  jt

Please note that I did not include myself amongst
the former. Therefore, I do include myself amongst the latter. I FIND MYSELF
