As I read these verses this morning I couldn’t help but think about TruthTalk. So many pointless arguments reign because of lack of understanding of these words here. One side argues from human “wisdom”; the other from the things of the Spirit. It is like trying to mix oil and water; futile. The result is adolescent arguments about who insulted/ad hom’d/lied/prideful self-congratulations, etc. iz 11When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. 12For now we (V)see in a mirror dimly, but then (W)face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also (X)have been fully known. 13But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is (Y)love.
