[TV orNotTV] Re: 'DWTS' Back to ABC

Just not the timeslot of "Monday Night Football," likely to include at
least a bit more NY teams coverage, especially with A. Rodgers now a Jet.

I can't help but wonder if this isn't also Disney hedging their bets
against a long WGA strike impacting fall premieres. DWTS can occupy a
large swath of primetime real estate...

Re: [TV orNotTV] Re: 'DWTS' Back to ABC

2023-05-03 Thread Mark Jeffries
Well, if Seacrest starts talking about auditions beginning a few weeks
after the finale, we'll find out. And even though "Jeopardy!" and "The
Chase" are WGA shops, they've still got an unaired season of "To Tell the
Truth" and "Press Your Luck," "Celebrity Wheel," "Celebrity Feud," "Judge
Steve Harvey," "Generation Gap" and "Pyramid" to be quickly put back in
production. If they can find someone to replace Alec Baldwin, they could
put "Match Game" back on. If they can find someone other than Leslie Jones,
they could even put "Supermarket Sweep" back on.
