[twitter-dev] [408s] Random 408 errors having been appearing the last 48 hours
Random 408 errors are being returned when users are attempting to Sign in with Twitter on my site TweetMeNews.com. Has anyone else been seeing this? Twitter, is there any way you can expand on the error message instead of just saying 408? That would help us better Understand Report what's breaking... Thanks, Brett http://twitter.com/TweetMeNews/

I wanted to give an update here. The issue has been resolved and was due to my account going the over limit. i.e. I messed up... [twitter-dev] Re: 408s - I'm receiving frequent 408 error messages today
At the first request the API sends a 408, if I then refresh or try the API call again it works fine. Why would this be happening? How is it that all the oAuth apps out there are down, but others like TweetMeMe are not? TweetMeMe works just fine, how is that possible? Not sure if this will help or not, regarding oAuth Sign in With Twitter Works - Sign in With Twitter works if the user isn't logged into Twitter and has to enter their LP on Twitter Doesn't Work - If the user is already signed into Twitter, clicks Allow, it just hangs... [twitter-dev] Twitter4J getAuthorizationURL versus Authentication?
The Twitter4J code I've gotten to work forces the user to click “Allow” on the Twitter authorization page (An application would like to connect to your account), every time the code is run.
