I am currently undertaking a full time masters in Electronic Publishing at City University London. As part of my studies I am required to undertake some research for my dissertation thesis titled ‘Newspapers as Platforms: How Open APIs Will Impact Journalism", a study investigating the possible changes in the way journalism is produced and perceived brought by the recent release of open APIs by large news corporations such as The Guardian and The New York Times.
