[TYPO3-english] Forms: Thank-you page
I'm new to Typo3 and have installed Typo3 6.0.4. With regards to the Form Wizard within Typo3, how do I select the thank-you page which the user views after they submit the form? There is not option to select a Jump to Page in this version (6.0.4) of Typo3. At the moment, after the form is submitted, the form disappears from view and the area is just blank. Thanks! ___ TYPO3-english mailing list TYPO3-english@lists.typo3.org http://lists.typo3.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/typo3-english

Hi This is my template and tsconfig setup: Part for the typoscript template (rootpage) // allow tags in RTE lib.parseFunc_RTE.allowTags:=addToList(icon) // ... to textfields lib.parseFunc.allowTags:=addToList(icon) lib.parseFunc_RTE.tags.icon=TEXT lib.parseFunc_RTE.tags.icon { # current = 1 sets content of tag current=1 # wrapper for Icon wrap=i class=icon-|nbsp;/i # strips any space out of the tag stripNL=1 } // sets the icon also to normal parsefunc (non-RTE) lib.parseFunc.tags.icon = lib.parseFunc_RTE.tags.icon // enable it for header fields lib.stdheader.10.setCurrent.parseFunc = lib.parseFunc lib.stdheader.10.setCurrent.htmlSpecialChars = 0 Part for the page TSConfig (rootpage) // add custom tag plugin to RTE buttons // allowed/denied tags // (icon should be the enough but for further use // when I want to display in RTE, I added i as well RTE.default.proc.allowTags := addToList(i,icon) RTE.default.proc.denyTags := removeFromList(i,icon) // HTMLparser_rte settings RTE.default.proc.HTMLparser_rte = 0 // don't mask special html characters like or RTE.default.proc.HTMLparser_rte.htmlSpecialChars = 0 // protect specific, user defined tags RTE.default.proc.HTMLparser_rte.tags.icon.protect = 1 // entryHTMLparser_db settings // special html characters like or will be stored unmasked (get masked by re-display in RTE) RTE.default.proc.entryHTMLparser_db.htmlSpecialChars = -1 // protect specific tag RTE.default.proc.entryHTMLparser_db.tags.icon.protect = 1 // protect non matching tags RTE.default.proc.entryHTMLparser_db.keepNonMatchedTags = protect // exitHTMLparser_db settings RTE.default.proc.exitHTMLparser_db = 1 // protected non matched tags during fetching from database RTE.default.proc.exitHTMLparser_db.keepNonMatchedTags = 1 // don't mask html characters like or RTE.default.proc.exitHTMLparser_db.htmlSpecialChars = 0 = But it's as I said just a work-around. You have to type manually iconphone/icon = i class=icon-phonenbsp;/i iconenvelope/icon = i class=icon-envelopenbsp;/i For me it's enough so far - but of course I'd appreciate an extension too. I'm just not able to do this :) And it's still very basic since it does not support things like this: i class=icon-camera-retro icon-2x/i or i class=icon-spinner icon-spin which can be found on the awesomes website examples page. If you or someone else has a more elegant way to realize this I'd appreciate. And also if some bug is found. I hope I got everything so far. Hi Bernd, Thanks for your help! Next you'll have to select a database to use with TYPO3. Use the form below. But when I feel in the form, I get this Error The following errors occured - Could not create database 'coopetitdb1' (...not created) Doesn't it look like OVH wont give the name of my database to TYPO3 ? Hi, What you should do is to enter the database name coopetitdb1 in the install process - i just did because your install tool was open. Either you have already your (only allowed) database, or need to use the admin-tool of your hosting-account. then you can insert the database name in the localconf.php/localconfiguration.php with your prefered editor. I think I remember a bug in the install-tool with inserting the databasename. bernd -- http://www.pi-phi.de/cheatsheet.html ___ TYPO3-english mailing list TYPO3-english@lists.typo3.org http://lists.typo3.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/typo3-english

Hi Søren, Thanks a bunch! I'm not completely sure how you did - but it works. However, when you write the line containing installToolPassword to a new password, do you mean in the LocalConfiguration.php ? I cannot find it... OUCH! as this newsgroup/mailinglist is stored forever and can be read from a lot of people, don't show them an open system! you never can tell who will read your answer first. Provide this information in a private mail. especially if you have an unexperienced user, who does not know all the possible ways of changes people can do. [TYPO3-english] Very simple e-commerce application
Hi, I am producing a set of local cycling guides as PDF and GPX files. I would like to charge a small amount for access to these (~ €5). The model I had in mind was that payments would be made by Paypal and a username/password pair would be returned to the customer. This would allow access (via a FE login) to the pages and associated files. The files will be secured using the naw_securedl extension. The bit I am missing is a way to get username/password pairs issued once a payment has been made. Paypal offers some support for this in that it will POST payment notification to a designated URL. I have looked at various e-commerce extensions to TYPO3. No doubt something there would do the job but I thought it worth asking, first, whether something simpler might be possible.
