[TYPO3-english] Forms: Thank-you page

2013-04-03 Thread light . underscor

I'm new to Typo3 and have installed Typo3 6.0.4.

With regards to the Form Wizard within Typo3, how do I select the thank-you page which
the user views after they submit the form? There is not option to select a Jump to
Page in this version (6.0.4) of Typo3.

At the moment, after the form is submitted, the form disappears from view and
the area is just blank.

Thanks!

On Jquerymobile.com there is Codiqa, they have the solution for handling

Right, Above, Below and thats it.

As i said, i have a list of subpages of selected page throught Sitemap

Send me the code u offered please so i try it out.

There are several important things to understand:
- 4.5 is supported but frozen now (only major bug fixes are allowed)
- I do not plan to break RealURL for 4.5 intentionally
- It is always use a previous version of RealURL if the new version breaks

There are too many changes across versions. It becomes too costly to
support them all.

Hi,

there is a patch pending to do a redirect:
https://review.typo3.org/18307

It was planned to be introduced for 6.1 but I don't know if it might
still be part of beta1 (feature-freeze) shortly.

Besides that I think there was some kind of Thank you-output through
TypoScript if I remember correctly.

Re: [TYPO3-english] Typo3 and Font awesome

2013-04-03 Thread Felix

Hi

This is my template and tsconfig setup:

Part for the typoscript template (rootpage)

// allow tags in RTE
lib.parseFunc_RTE.allowTags:=addToList(icon)
// ... to textfields
lib.parseFunc.allowTags:=addToList(icon)

lib.parseFunc_RTE.tags.icon=TEXT
lib.parseFunc_RTE.tags.icon {
# current = 1 sets content of tag
current=1
# wrapper for Icon
wrap=i class=icon-|nbsp;/i

# strips any space out of the tag
stripNL=1
}

// sets the icon also to normal parsefunc (non-RTE)
lib.parseFunc.tags.icon =  lib.parseFunc_RTE.tags.icon

// enable it for header fields
lib.stdheader.10.setCurrent.parseFunc =  lib.parseFunc
lib.stdheader.10.setCurrent.htmlSpecialChars = 0

Part for the page TSConfig (rootpage)

// add custom tag plugin to RTE buttons
// allowed/denied tags
// (icon should be the enough but for further use
// when I want to display in RTE, I added i as well
RTE.default.proc.allowTags := addToList(i,icon)
RTE.default.proc.denyTags := removeFromList(i,icon)

// HTMLparser_rte settings
RTE.default.proc.HTMLparser_rte = 0
// don't mask special html characters like or
RTE.default.proc.HTMLparser_rte.htmlSpecialChars = 0
// protect specific, user defined tags
RTE.default.proc.HTMLparser_rte.tags.icon.protect = 1

// entryHTMLparser_db settings
// special html characters like or will be stored unmasked (get
masked by re-display in RTE)

RTE.default.proc.entryHTMLparser_db.htmlSpecialChars = -1
// protect specific tag
RTE.default.proc.entryHTMLparser_db.tags.icon.protect = 1
// protect non matching tags
RTE.default.proc.entryHTMLparser_db.keepNonMatchedTags = protect

// exitHTMLparser_db settings
RTE.default.proc.exitHTMLparser_db = 1
// protected non matched tags during fetching from database
RTE.default.proc.exitHTMLparser_db.keepNonMatchedTags = 1
// don't mask html characters like or
RTE.default.proc.exitHTMLparser_db.htmlSpecialChars = 0

=

But it's as I said just a work-around. You have to type manually

iconphone/icon  = i class=icon-phonenbsp;/i

iconenvelope/icon   = i class=icon-envelopenbsp;/i

For me it's enough so far - but of course I'd appreciate an extension
too. I'm just not able to do this :)

And it's still very basic since it does not support things like this:
i class=icon-camera-retro icon-2x/i
or
i class=icon-spinner icon-spin
which can be found on the awesomes website examples page.

If you or someone else has a more elegant way to realize this I'd
appreciate. And also if some bug is found. I hope I got everything so far.

Greetings
felix

Hi! I'm new to TYPO3 and I am installing it for the first time (creating
web sites in general is new to me...so please bare with me). My hosting and

Problem : In the install tool I can't get any further than step 2, since
TYPO3 tells me that a database has not been created (which is not true).

So I try to use the skip this wizard function and I go to Edit files in
typo3conf/http://www.co-opetition.net/typo3/install/index.php?TYPO3_INSTALL[type]=typo3conf_edit
where I put in (with of course the actual names of my database, etc) :

$typo_db_username = 'user DB';
$typo_db_password = 'pass';
$typo_db_host = 'server name';

$typo_db = 'name DB ';

In my

I put in Keep file.

Better: just create it (and refresh it each time you need it)
it will enable access to INSTALL-Tool for 30 minutes after each touch
(and will be touched for each page-call inside the install-tool)

I save it - and hereafter I'm not sure what to do. Nothing happens but I do
find a new deprecation_log file in Typo3conf every time I try to log on to
the Installation Tool (to see if my configuration has worked).

Has any body any idea of what is bugging? Is it OVH that do not work with
Typo3?

in a fresh installation you may ignore the deprecation log

you may start the basic install-tool with
http://your.domain.tld/typo3/install/index.php

try to fill in the needed configuration in the basic configuration
(e.g. database connection) which is missing.
then start database analyser and do a 'compare'. As no tables exist
you may generate all tables.

in the same section 'Create admin user'.

now you can login to the normal TYPO3 backend and start a new page

before this you may visit all configuration and disable deprecation
log: search for [enableDeprecationLog] and empty the value (storing is
done at the end of the very long page).

Next you'll have to select a database to use with TYPO3.

Use the form below.
But when I feel in the form, I get this Error
The following errors occured

   - Could not create database 'coopetitdb1' (...not created)

Doesn't it look like OVH wont give the name of my database to TYPO3 ?

Thanks again!

 in a fresh installation you may ignore the deprecation log

 you may start the basic install-tool with
 http://your.domain.tld/typo3/**install/index.phphttp://your.domain.tld/typo3/install/index.php

 try to fill in the needed configuration in the basic configuration (e.g.
 database connection) which is missing.
 then start database analyser and do a 'compare'. As no tables exist you
 may generate all tables.

 in the same section 'Create admin user'.

 now you can login to the normal TYPO3 backend and start a new page

 before this you may visit all configuration and disable deprecation log:
 search for [enableDeprecationLog] and empty the value (storing is done at
 the end of the very long page).

depending on your provider you may not be allowed to create a database
on the fly.
Either you have already your (only allowed) database, or need to use the
admin-tool of your hosting-account.

then you can insert the database name in the
localconf.php/localconfiguration.php with your prefered editor.

I think I remember a bug in the install-tool with inserting the
databasename.

Hi Søren,

Thanks a bunch! I'm not completely sure how you did - but it works.

However, when you write the line containing installToolPassword to a new

I'm pretty stupid leaving it open to every one...beginners mistake!

 OUCH!
 as this newsgroup/mailinglist is stored forever and can be read from a lot
 of people, don't show them an open system!

 you never can tell who will read your answer first.

 Provide this information in a private mail.

 especially if you have an unexperienced user, who does not know all the
 possible ways of changes people can do.

 I would delete all files from the webspace to install TYPO3 anew
 I would erase the databse and create it anew (at least have a look in the
 table be_users to prevent unwanted BE users)

[TYPO3-english] Very simple e-commerce application

2013-04-03 Thread Graham Knight

Hi,

I am producing a set of local cycling guides as PDF and GPX files. I would like
to charge a small amount for access to these (~ €5). The model I had in mind
was that payments would be made by Paypal and a username/password pair would be
returned to the customer. This would allow access (via a FE login) to the pages
and associated files. The files will be secured using the naw_securedl
extension.

The bit I am missing is a way to get username/password pairs issued once a
payment has been made. Paypal offers some support for this in that it will POST
payment notification to a designated URL.

I have looked at various e-commerce extensions to TYPO3. No doubt something
there would do the job but I thought it worth asking, first, whether something
simpler might be possible.
