[TYPO3-english] sorting POI - rggooglemap after upgrade
Hi, After upgrading my EXT:rggooglemap to 3.0.0 from 2.x.y my POI's is not sorted anymore. I can sort my POI's Categories, but not the POI's themself. Is this left out in latest version? [TYPO3-english] std. mailform - not sending mail
Hi, I have a problem with the TYPO3 std. mailform not sending mails. The install-tool test-mail works fine, but my mailform mails is not sent, not entries in mail.log or error.log My localconf is like this: $TYPO3_CONF_VARS['MAIL']['transport'] = 'sendmail'; $TYPO3_CONF_VARS['MAIL']['transport_sendmail_command'] = '/usr/sbin/sendmail -bs'; Have tried with "sendmail -t" too, no different. Any hints on what could been wrong? There is only one recipient so its not a matter of how m...@domain.tld is written in recipient field. [TYPO3-english] sr_feuser_register - password
Hi. I upgraded an older version of sr_feuser_register to newest from TER. My template is quite simple at the moment. I have password and email, with useEmailAsUsername=1 option. So miminal template. But when submitting I get the error that my password and password again is not alike. I'm sorry to admit that I have seen this problem before, but I cannot recall how I did fix this. Any hints on what I could be missing, and what to store better for next time =) I have the rsaauth, saltedpassword etc. as required in manual installed, and my TYPO3-Report is all green. [TYPO3-english] TYPO3 Extension Repository - Future ?
Hi, My boss just went to my desk with a suggestion for the TER. How about creating it more like an APP-store (Extension-Store). The TER is not that structured if you don't know excatly what you are looking for. I Know its a buzz-word these days, but i think the idea of grouping the extensions by category, purpose etc, newest updates etc.. will give a better overview of extensions available, which is popular and which is mostly used. I know there is a posibility today to filter your search result, but you dont know always what to search for to find a specific extension, not all extensions are named well. What do you think of the idea? Have a page with - Forgot password, type in you email, 2. sent email with URL to reset-password-page. 3. resets the password 4. Logs the users in, if configured or allow the user to do so. Hi, I'm using varnish at some servers, right now in test-mode cause not fully configured yet. I have a problem with clearing cache from TYPO3 BE. I have following configuration se typo3.vcl attached. I also have the EXT:moc_varnish installed, but cannot clear the cache, what could be missing. When clearing the cache, my varnishlog shows a request from BE but i cannot see precise what URL params etc, is called, Hope you can help me futher.. Hi, I have to re-cache my site when the crawler extension runs, previously the cachemgm extension was used, but it a bit all now i thing, and i'm not sure it compatible with TYPO3 4.7. Any suggestion for re-cache pages, either by crawler or by scheduled task? I found out that, the pages which the tt_news not is shown depends on which page i visit just after clearing cache. I have had similar problems 2-3 years ago, but back then is was caused by misconfiguration of languages, this site is only one language, so it cannot be exactly the same problem. I have tried to insert tt_news like this too, but same result.

The page with tt_address contains TS but only concerning tt_address:

The TYPO3.org Main Repository is choosen as default. php-curl is installed and activated. To follow up, I also tried following:

But both resolved default language.
If visiting the page PID:68 manually the to langugages is working fine,
so assume is not language-misconfiguration.

depending on the sys_language_uid.
I'm doing this:

[TYPO3-english] insert tt_address in typoscript
Hi,
I have some problem with inserting my tt_address plugin through typoscript.
I do it like this.
lib.bank = COA
plugin.tx_ttaddress_pi1 {
pidList = 43
recursive = 4
groupSelection = 7
}
lib.bank.10 < plugin.tt_address
But the is nothing echoed, and if adding following:
lib.bank.20 = HTML
lib.bank.20.valu = Echo ME...
This will be at the screen.. Hints? Isn't it posible to include
tt_address through typoscript?
If i make lib.bank.10 < plugin.tt_news it works (with tt_news ofcouse =)

Hi, When adding a link to my TYPO3 page at my facebook status, it search for images at the page. The pages: http://fritdrop.dk/?id=149 contains 10 images, but only the 7 of them with full-path in src is indexed. The last 3 images, is regular "image only"-item, why is images made by typo3 not indexed at facebook status'? And how to solve this. This is for me a generel problem. The OpenGraph is not an option cause i don't want a standard picture but the picture in the page to be shown, and if more than one, i want to select between them. [TYPO3-english] Crawler Extension
Hi, I have a small problem with the Crawler extension. The problem is that is have a shortcut from domain.tld/events to domain.tld/long/path/to/event The page domain.tld/event is not indexed, and therefor not able to be "hit" at domain.tld/event got the: "Oops, an error occured! Reason: Segment "event" was not a keyword for a postVarSet as expected!" Thus it cannot recognize my url path. Any hints on how to solve this? As far as I know crawler only crawls indexed pages, and shortcuts are not indexed. So, any hints? When switching this to '1' my whitespace in the top of my view-source both for xml and html disappear. Some idiot perhaps me, had committed a temp_* file to svn, before disabled the cache. This is perfekt, because i can see that the old temp_* files all contains whitespace after ?> so the must be a rendering-bug somewhere in my stuff. Hi, I have a problem with my xmlfeed, the problem is one "empty" line before my tag. My TYPO3 Version is: 4.4.4 When view source at regular pages, non-xml there is also an "empty" line, so I think its either a template issue or a typo3-core issue. I cannot find the problem within the file edited by me. But the problem must be somewhere =) I have another solution running typo3 4.3.3 and here there is no problem. I have tried to downgrade my solution with the problem, but didn't solve it. I have tried to upgrade my version 4.3.3 version to 4.4.4 so its not a difference between the to sources.. I Solved my problem. The problem was that i have allready loaded the normal jquery.js and this conflicted with mm_forum jquery static template. I have a problem with my rtehtmlarea in my frontend plugin, i have tried the
setup like

The $dataArray['my-field-name'] variable is simple empty, so nothing added
to the db, and when enter text backend, its not loaded frontend when
editing..
I have tried various ways to set my $dataArray['my-field-name']

The manual shows is like parameter 2 and 4 should be alike, but as far as i
can see it should not because the 2. parameter refers to the form name for
the input-field, and 4. refers to the db-column name.
Any hints on how to set this correctly ?? The example 2 is the one im most
sure about.. but doesnt work..

Hi,
I have a problem with my subpart template, it will not read/insert the
elements created in the t3 backend.
My template is like this:

As you can see i try to read the input with:
newsletter.colLeft = COA
newsletter.colLeft {
10 = USER
10.userFunc = tx_tsvoila_pi1->main
10.field = colLeft
}
But won't work.. the colRight is working with the
20 = HTML
20.value = colright
so i know the template can render and correctly, but not with the
right information...
My fields created in the datastructure is called: colLeft and colRight
and this name is also shown when editing in the backend.
So how does i change the template to read from "t3-backend" so my
created elements are shown.

I have a problem with tt_news and cache.
I have a website with 5 languages.
I have a sysfolder container all news, and the sysfolder is translated
to the 5 languages.
So all my news can be translated. Furthermore my singleview-page with
tt_news plugin i translated as well.
At my frontpage i have a tt_news element inserted via ts-conf, do by
following ts.

My problem is that if i am at the english site, clear all 3 cache BE,
and the goes to FE and refresh my browser, then i can see the english
news. But if i chance to german i have to go to the BE again and clear
all 3 and so on.. after visiting the german page, i cannot go back to
english and still see the news, the cache has to be cleared BE again.
This is not the prober way to have you solution :) So i have tried to
see if tt_news can run without cache. I have tried:
plugin.tt_news.no_cache=1
and furthermore to try with no_cache for the entire site like this:
config.no_cache=1
page.config.no_cache=1
Didn't know which was the right one so tried both, bot none of the
tree things solved my problem.
Now i quite confused on how to solve the problem, anyone can give me a
hint to the right direction to solve this ?
BTW: All other language depende content is working fine..

Hi All. Im using the ve_guestbook ext, and want the newest entry shown in a right column, i have tried to find out how to include it in the TS-conf like tt_news, but havn't any luck yet.. any hints ? [TYPO3-english] GIF Builder Transparent background
Hi, I'm using gifbuilder for my h1 and h2's but i have a problem because of my background-image. My background image has a fade-effect such that the color is not the same at the top of the h1 text as in the bottom. This gives me a problem with the "backColor = #00605f" option, because is looks like the h1 is inserted in a sqare box, which was not the intension. I want it to be completely transparent such the background image of the site will be the "background" for the text. Is the at all posible ? I have tried to google for some opacity option, but the only thing i found is on the shadow option.. I have made something like it at fritdrop.dk both in top picture and with my h1, but here its not a problem because the background color is plain.
