[TYPO3-english] Help with multilingual TYPO
Hello everyone. I am currently setting up a TYPO3 4.6 system with german as primary language. Secondaries are English and French. So far, only the page's title in the top navigation changes when adding a L=1 to the URL. The problem is that the page's content doesn't change, altough there are translations for it. I hope my screenshot clears it up for you: http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/6335/typo3multilingual.jpg Lately, i am also experiencing this error when entering the root adress of my TYPO installation. Re: [TYPO3-english] Help with multilingual TYPO
Maybe the alternative language in german is having some strange effect... (alternative page language: Reiten) You don't need an alternative language for the default language ___ TYPO3-english mailing list TYPO3-english@lists.typo3.org http://lists.typo3.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/typo3-english
Re: [TYPO3-english] Help with multilingual TYPO
Hi, Felix. I hope my screenshot clears it up for you: http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/6335/typo3multilingual.jpg Try to play with config.sys_language_mode and config.sys_language_overlay In most cases my setup uses this: config.sys_language_mode = content_fallback config.sys_language_overlay = hideNonTranslated Also for TV I usually set this in page TS config: # make records be only translatable mod.web_layout.defLangBinding = 1 # allow FCE be localized as well from Page module mod.web_txtemplavoilaM1.enableLocalizationLinkForFCEs = 1 ___ TYPO3-english mailing list TYPO3-english@lists.typo3.org http://lists.typo3.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/typo3-english
Re: [TYPO3-english] Help with multilingual TYPO
How about L=2? L=1 might not work, because there are an error in config.local_all = en-EN on disregard of the typo '-' - '_' there is no locale en_EN. choose one of these: en_AG en_AU en_AU.utf8 en_BE en_BE.utf8 en_BE@euro en_BW en_BW.utf8 en_CA en_CA.utf8 en_DK en_DK.utf8 en_GB en_GB.iso885915 en_GB.utf8 en_HK en_HK.utf8 en_IE en_IE.utf8 en_IE@euro en_IN en_IN.utf8 en_NG en_NZ en_NZ.utf8 en_PH en_PH.utf8 en_SG en_SG.utf8 en_US en_US.iso885915 en_US.utf8 en_ZA en_ZA.utf8 en_ZW en_ZW.utf8 fr_FR existis, on the other hand maybe this helps. good luck!
