[TYPO3-english] Personalized frontend content ext.?

2014-01-03 Thread Pero Peric

Hi,

I'm searching for TYPO3 ext. for frontend content personalization but i
can't find anything. So, i would like frontend users to log in and to be
able to click which content they should see on a page and which not.
Anyone knows if such ext. exists for TYPO3 4.7.x ? Thx.

regards.

Hi Pero,

this is quite easy and you don't need any extension. You have to set
up frontend user Groups, where you put in your users. Then you can
assign specific user Group to every Content element or page in your
Installation. This is possible "out of the box".

Hi,

I haven't tried and it's a bit old, no idea if it still works, but you can have
a look at this one:

Maybe it gets you started.

Just for the sake of completeness, no, this is not available "out of the
box" as Pero asked for a way to assign those FE user groups "from
Frontend", not Backend (and he's not talking about Frontend Editing either).

Cheers
