Is there any way to tell the core do not allow user switch the type, until he has filled required fields? Or disallow core to save record, when type is switched? Forgot to mention: TYPO3 4.7.0 Maybe, I'm wrong, but some older releases (4.2.x) were not allowing switch type, unless required fields were not filled up.
