[U2] UV retrieve

2011-01-05 Thread Dianne Ackerman
I think I'm losing my mind today - I'm doing something I do all the time
but getting an error and can't seem to figure it out, please help! UV
10.2, PICK flavor, a simple RETRIEVE statement.

I can do just fine:

LIST FILE1
LIST DICT FILE1
LIST FILE2
LIST DICT FILE2

But when I do

LIST FILE1 USING DICT FILE2

I get a very weird error that I don't understand:
RetrieVe: syntax error. Unexpected symbol. Token was DICT.
Scanned command was LIST FILE1 USING DICT

Have you tried specifying dictionary items in the list command?

EX; LIST ANYFILE F1 F5 USING DICT VOC

[U2] [UV] Invalid SELECT list specification keyword ignored.

2011-01-05 Thread Jacques G.

Hello,

I have the following command:

SSELECTY VOC FROM 9 TO 10 (10

It works fine from the TCL level but when used in a PERFORM statement in a
program I get the:

Invalid SELECT list specification keyword ignored.

Error message:

Any ideas ?
