Re your earlier post I see Northgate are now actively marketed Reality as a
NOSQL database with added SQL!

I note that PrimOS written by Prime was done in later iterations in PL/1.
Projects like UV/UD and others originated on Prime.
I think it's likely that some knowledge of PL/I existed.

What I'd like to know is why the sudden change in the treatment of the
Personal Editions of UV/UD from their new owner.
IBM were happy to let anyone have a copy for the non-commercial use required
in the agreement. I get the impression with Rocket it is now only for
'evaluation'. Would anyone from Rocket care to comment?
