Checking the universe errlog revealed the problem. The file system was full. I wish they'd document those strange status numbers on the help that is available on the TCL. --- Allen E. Anyone here ever get this error ? The following error appears using AE to try to save a record: [AE] UniBasic WRITE failed, STATUS=40019, -- unrecognized STATUS() after WRITEU. Quit RECORD in file TESTBP unchanged. Trying to save the same program with ED gives an error also but the STATUS value is 0. I checked the Unix permissions and they are fine, the record can be modified if I used vi under Unix. __ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
