RE: [U2] [UV] Weird SEARCH Results
There was a bug logged with IBM concerning SEARCH. I do not have the details with me now but will dig them up in the morning when I am back at the office and post them to the group. Your problem sound very similar to the problem which was logged. RE: [U2] [UV] Weird SEARCH Results
I have experienced this in AIX. If there is a sub-directory in ROM.BP the search would end when it reaches the sub-directory. RE: [U2] [UV] Weird SEARCH Results
Original: No control characters. It doesn't matter what I search for, this program will never turn up in the results. If you SELECT ROM.BP, does this program get selected? I'd guess something wrong with the file so the SELECT doesn't get this program. I've created/experienced similar problems related to permissions on individual BP items. If you type LIST ROM.BP = "OEM110]" does the item appear? RE: [U2] [UV] Weird SEARCH Results
I'd wonder whether the program has a CR/LF character (or some other character sequence) embedded in it so the SEARCH program stops searching the program before it finds the result (the program either thinks the program has ended or the array to test doesn't include anything after this character sequence. I've stumbled over errors like this after conversions from D3 to UD.
