[U2] Configuration Code
Does anyone know what the configuration code should be? I have not been provided with one, and I am in the middle of an upgrade to a development machine ;-) Cheers, --- u2-users mailing list u2-users@listserver.u2ug.org To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/
RE: [U2] Configuration Code
You should have a serial number in the form: Nnnn-xxx The n's represent an 8 digit number and the xxx the product code, which could be UDT, UV or some other item depending on which product. The config code for UniData is generated from the confprod utility and is then fed into the IBM web licencing tool: https://www-927.ibm.com/software/data/u2/support/u2techconnect/authprod. asp Which will probably be the best place for you to look at what you need. Hope that helps. RE: [U2] Configuration Code
Phil It's generated as part of the installation. If you're on Windows, go to the UniVerse control panel applet, select the Licence tab and you will see a button marked Config code. RE: [U2] Configuration Code
Thanks Brian, I guess I should have just carried on entering the necessary information ;-), as you are correct it gets created for you. I saw the prompts and thought I don't have this - I should have been provided with it ;-) Cheers, Phil. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Brian Leach Sent: Wednesday, 3 January 2007 11:30 p.m. To: u2-users@listserver.u2ug.org Subject: RE: [U2] Configuration Code Phil It's generated as part of the installation.
