[Ubnt_users] Rocket AC

2016-07-15 Thread Shawn Burgei
Anyone else having issues with the ROCKET 5AC PTMP with bandwidth
throughput? We have to reboot the AP at least onces or twice a month to
get the correct bandwidth. Any suggestions? We are running the 7.2.2
firmware.

Thanks in advance!

We have to do that as well from time to time. The best thing we have found is
to not allow any CPE on the AP to be above -60. Also no more than 20 CPE’s per
AP.

Re: [Ubnt_users] [WISPA Members] UBNT does it again New Prism - Missing Frequencies

2016-07-15 Thread Matt Hardy via Ubnt_users
Hi Tom,
We just released v7.2.4 which modifies the rules of devices manufactured
after 6/1/2016. You can find it here:
https://www.ubnt.com/download/airmax-ac/rocket5ac-prism/default/airos7-xc-board-firmware-724

Let me know if you have any issues with this version.

Thanks,
Matt

be released on Monday, so I'll share it here once ready.

Thanks,

Re: [Ubnt_users] Rocket AC

I would suggest trying a recent v8 beta release and see if you have the same
problem. This sounds similar to a bug that was in v8 but is corrected in
recent betas.

the correct bandwidth. Any suggestions? We are running the 7.2.2 firmware.

[Ubnt_users] 5 ghz airprism - reports

2016-07-15 Thread CBB - Jay Fuller

Those of you tinkering with this, what is the best firmware to run currently?
What firmware was shown on the big screen demo last November?
was that 8.x beta?

I just read a thread where bandwidth was dropping and a reboot fixed it.
what known issues are out there and w/ what firmware version?

Thanks in advance ;)
