Hi, a couple of days ago, I installed Edgy Eft on my computer. I used the alternate install CD. When the start screen appeared, I pressed F6 and entered the following for my Braille display that is connected via a serial connection:
install brltty=cb,ttyS0,de During the installation, I switched to a virtual console by pressing Alt+F2 and renamed the script /usr/lib/finish-install.de/50brltty to /usr/lib/finish-install.d/05brltty At the end of the installation, the brltty script also ran. At the restart, brltty was not started and after the login, Orca did not speak either.
