Re: Ubuntu-accessibility Digest, Vol 22, Issue 12
I just found that my Ubuntu has a quirk Maybe others have it too. I have Thunderbird. when the password box comes to get into my mailbox it will not work if ORCA is on. It will work if I shut Orca down. But then, after downloading mail, I have to reboot to get Orca on again. I think the echo of the star etc causes the password to go out scrambled. This has gotta be tuff for a blind user. Another quirk is at first ORCA read all input of CapsLock+; didn't work, then after a week it did, and would read a paragraph only, and then stoop. Now, after installing Voxin, successfully with expert help, AND after an update of thunderbird it (Caps-Lock+;) reverts back to doing nothing reading mail.. Re: live cd oversize
Hi Mike and all, I noticed that as well so I burned it onto a DVD. But it doesn't boot on my machine. I am also wondering what's going on with it. Re: Orca on A MacIntosh?
Hi, I use Ubuntu Feisty on a Macbook running Orca with no problems. This guide https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MacBookProFeisty might be of some assistance.
