Introduction and tutorial question

2017-04-08 Thread Armando Maldonado
Hello,
My name is Armando and I was recommended here by a good friend. With that said,
I'm currently installing Ubuntu Mate on a 64Bit machine and have a question
regarding tutorials. Are there any Ubuntu Mate tutorials available that will
show me how to do things in Linux, such as installing Skype TeamTalk, and other
useful programs and/or ways that will show me how to speed up my system for
good performance? I'm learning Orca as i go so I may be asking lots of
questions from time to time. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.

try ubuntu button. once loaded, i tried launching orca and it did
work, using orca 3.22.2. but when i go to desktop, hit enter on the
install ubuntu icon, nothing. i hear nothing. but if i alt tab, orca
speaks. but not the installer screen. any idea?
