Can you perhaps be a little more specific? I don't know what you're
referring to here, sorry.

16.10 is long past its support window, I'm afraid.
if you're looking for Ubuntu MATE specifically, their supported releases
can be found at https://ubuntu-mate.org/

No, that doesn't happen intentionally

What's more likely is either device failure, or the forward march of
progress. Newer wireless access points often drop support for older Wifi
standards.

Also, 10.04 is well out of support :D

There is a snap of Thunderbird, which you may want to try.

https://snapcraft.io/thunderbird

It is currently being maintained by the Ubuntu Desktop team, but is in the
process of being handed over to the upstream Thunderbird maintainers.

Maybe give that a shot. I have used it here for some months, and it worked
fine on my gmail accounts.

Re: Budgie desktop accessibility

Hi,

I asked Ikey Doherty to comment on this, as he is the upstream for
Budgie, and lead developer / creator of Solus.

"partial support. screen readers don't play well with budgie menu."

"We're aware of the current limitations in Budgie's a11y support,
broken by the GtkPopover system currently in place. It's a public goal
on our roadmap for Budgie 11:

Hope that helps,

There was talk some years ago of having an Ubuntu wide Mumble server,
but I don't think anyone ever set one up. It's pretty straightforward
to setup a mumble server. I have one for the Ubuntu Podcast which we
use when we record, but it's not setup for many users.

The Hacker Public Radio Mumble server is very friendly, and has some
cross-over in terms of philosophy. So if we were all going to meet up
somewhere that might be a good place.

Personally I hang out on the Jupiter Broadcasting one sometimes,
especially when they're recording shows, but also in the evenings when
things are quiet.
