Hi Al,
Actually you can install Ubuntu hardy using the Alternate CD with BRLTTY. I
installed it just fine.
All the best,
Christian

Completely unable to install Hardy?

2008-03-17 Thread Al Puzzuoli
Hi all,

I understand that the method for an accessible install is currently being
reworked; However, I tried to install Hardy over the weekend and as of right
now, none of the old methods for getting the installer to talk seem to work at
all. Putting the .orbitrc in /root seems to have no effect, and the
instructions on the wiki at the below URL didn't work either:
http://live.gnome.org/Orca/UbuntuFeisty

So as of this moment, is there a usable workaround, or are we just in a holding
pattern until the issue is resolved?

Thanks,
