Re: Orca admin tasks in 11.04
Yes, I can now work with synaptic, starting it from a terminal with sudo synaptic. Also from a terminal for example sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list. I will of course try Vinux 3.2.1 because 3.0.1 works great on my laptop, thanks for telling. Is it worthed to install Orca 3.1.91 on Ubuntu 11.04? If yes, do I need the xdesktop version? Thanks. Orca admin tasks in 11.04
HI, I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 11.04 and log in with GNOME Classic. I start up Orca and it works fine. But when I start Synaptic Orca refuse to speak. Even when I start Synaptic in a terminal with sudo synaptic. What or how can I do to solve this? Thanks in advance.
