It sounds like you may have switched your keyboard mode for orca to laptop mode. Try pressing capslock plus space to get to the preferences. Alternatively, if you haven't disabled the orca window, you can switch to that window and choose the preferences button. -- Luke Yelavich GPG key: 0xD06320CE (http://www.themuso.com/themuso-gpg-key.txt) Email & MSN: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Jabber: [EMAIL PROTECTED] signature.asc Description: Digital signature -- Ubuntu-accessibility mailing list Ubuntu-accessibility@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-accessibility

Hi, it seems the insert key doesn't work for any of the orca commands. Is there another way I can get to the settings to fix this. Mike. X-Antivirus: avast! Re: just a question
Hi Mike: I need more information to be able to help. What was involved in "today's update" for you? Was is Feisty? Was it Orca? If it was Orca, was it from the trunk or from the gnome-2-18 branch? Did you change anything else? In addition, what specific actions do you use to launch the device manager? Hi, I noticed after todays update the device manager isn't axcessable anymore. What is going on. It seems more and more of the aps are no longer working with orca. Mike. X-Antivirus: avast! Re: just a question
In my experience, Orca works best on Ubuntu Edgy and Feisty and also runs great on Solaris Express build 55b. Dapper may be a bit too old. Hi, I have a older computer I was thinking of using dapper on. My question is does orca work in that operating system. If so is it a simple matter of using apt-get install gnome orca, or is there more to setting it up. I also need it to see windows partitions. Is there a easy way to do this. Mike. X-Antivirus: avast!
