Re: maybe off topic but how do I setup orca on a flash drive
Hi, After dowloading the .iso file and checking the md5sum I simply do the following: 1. insert the memory stick. 2. in a terminal type: usb-creator-gtk Note: you can press Tab after typing 'usb-c' 3. press Enter. 4. follow the steps on the screen. Success.\Milton Op 07-05-2020 om 22:23 schreef Don Raikes: Hello, It has been a number of years since I have used Ubuntu and then it was always on an installed version. Hi Don, I use Universal USB Installer. It offers to make a persistence file. I have read that one should always make a persistence file within 512 MB ranges, like 512, 1024, 2048, etc. Here's a link: https://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/ Glenn - Original Message - From: Don Raikes To: ubuntu-accessibility@lists.ubuntu.com Sent: Thursday, May 07, 2020 3:23 PM Subject: maybe off topic but how do I setup orca on a flash drive Hello, It has been a number of years since I have used Ubuntu and then it was always on an installed version.
