will the installer in intrepid work with orca by final release

Hi, I like several others have also found the installer doesn't work like it 
did in hardy.
Is this going to be fixed by final release? We can get it to work by running it 
as route, but new users will not know how to do this.

Probably not, as we are only days away from the release, and I haven't found 
the problem, due to a lot of the installer changing substancially in thsi 
release.
