[Ubuntu-apps-bugs] [Bug 1571276] Re: tab reload when move between tabs

2016-04-16 Thread Olivier Tilloy
This is the expected behaviour: when the system is running out of memory
(currently less than 30% available memory), the browser will start
unloading background tabs to free up some memory, thus hopefully
avoiding the entire application being taken down. Those tabs, when
focused again, need to be reloaded. Note that the data is cached, so
depending on server parameters, this might not imply data consumption
(for highly dynamic webapps it almost certainly will though).

** Changed in: webbrowser-app (Ubuntu)
   Status: New => Invalid

Title:
tab reload when move between tabs

Status in webbrowser-app package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
When you move between tabs of the web-browser the tabs are reloaded.
Not sure why it works this way (maybe for the memory) but sometimes is
very annoying also it makes more consumption of data when you are
connected through your sim and not through wifi.

  BQ E4.5 ubuntu edition.
  OTA 10.1

[Ubuntu-apps-bugs] [Bug 1571155] [NEW] OSK in messaging-app is very slow

2016-04-16 Thread Guillaume F
Public bug reported:

Since OTA-10, the messaging-app has become very difficult to use. It
appears sluggish in general but the main problem is that the OSK is
unresponsive and pauses sometimes for 2 seconds. I think it happens
mostly when long pressing some keys to reveal other letters, and maybe
while checking the spelling. Reboots are ineffective, and the OSK works
fine everywhere else (Browser, Dekko). That's why I filed this against
the messaging-app.

I use the bq 4.5. Let me know if I can provide any more info!
