Re: [ubuntu-art] Hello!

2005-12-26 Thread Luka Cehovin

hello paulo,

you can check out https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArtworkTeam and irc channel
#ubuntu-artwork @ irc.freenode.net for more information ... or just ask
here on the list (also check the archives).

there will be a meeting soon (29.12. at 2300 UTC) so you are welcome if
you have time.

otherwise you will have ask what is to be done or just do what you like
to do right now as the team is currently not as organized as it should
be (we hope that will change after the meeting).

cheers,
-Luka

Re: [ubuntu-art] Glow

2005-12-26 Thread Mikkel Kamstrup Erlandsen
Just a thought.

Assuming that we will use the new Clearlooks 2 metacity theme (or
derivative), the light source might pose better on the top. - Consider
that the highlighted part of the window border is the top part (same for
window buttons)...

But anyways, I like it. I think it one of your best works so far Viper.

Cheers
Mikkel

PS: The splash screen is more "experimental"... I think the blue color
is a bit over the top.

Hi !

I like the wallpaper very much ! It keeps the current style while
renewing it a bit.

I'm just a little worried that the bottom panel will hide a
non-neglectable amount of the sun...

Cheers,
Manu

The wiki has been updated
The best thing to do at this point is contribute to the tango icon project

Does this mean the Humility icon project is being abandoned? Please say it
aint so! It's a really great iconset and IMHO better then Tango. I like
Tango as a fallback but it wouldnt make a good default for an Ubuntu-branded
product.

Santa, all I want for Christmas this year is a complete Humility iconset. :)

i concur. andy, if you are not working on humility anymore please
release it to the community (or at least tell us where we can find the
most recent copy). as you see there is still will to work on this icon
set and it would be a shame to just let it fade away...

cheers,
