Oh. I forgot to note that edit-paste was rejected because the paper used

Ok. New uploads to BZR:

* edit-redo
* edit-undo
* format-indent-less
* format-indent-more
* format-justify-center
* format-justify-fill
* format-justify-left
* format-justify-right
* go-bottom

* go-last
* go-next
* go-previous

* go-up
* mail-forward

* mail-mark-notjunk
* mail-mark-unread
* mail-message-new
* mail-reply-all
* mail-reply-sender
* mail-send-receive
* mail-send
* object-flip-horizontal
* object-flip-vertical
* drive-removable-media-usb-pendrive
* input-gaming
* gnome-keybinding-properties
* preferences-desktop-keyboard
* input-mouse
* camera-web
* camera-video
* start-here (updated)
* modem

Now the navigation icons have sizing consistency issues. The "back" icon when
compared to "forward" is obviously larger in Nautilus, Firefox and Epiphany.

So grab the latest BZR and test. Hunt for other issues.

Ill get the wiki pages updated tomorrow.

[ubuntu-art] [Breathe] Artists, try to remember...

2009-05-02 Thread Cory K.
On *all* of Daniels current submissions they are missing the "category"
formatting on the artwork layer. Without that, "actions/whatever-*" the
icons will not build correctly. The "palette" layer was also left in as
well as not vacuuming the defs. I took most of the icons from 150k to
50k. Big difference. ;)

Artists please take note and remember for the future.

mhhh, I understand Daniel. It is not a easy job and he is missing the
closer communication with all maintainers of this Set. Feel alone is not
very good for motivation. ;)
It would be maybe better this way:

Daniel: I will make the new computer-icon.
Cory: show us ...
...
Me: The screen is nice, but the feet should be smaller and more round.
Cory: Do it in white and the shadow stronger ...
Smartboy: Hey I like it!
Thorsten: It's to glossy. :( # (the bad guy) :D :D :D
etc. etc.

:D

It's only a example, but what I want say is, that everybody is important
and needs some support and maybe more attention. The leader or somebody
with good reasons should stop a wrong way quickly, so we save the
artist's frustration, time and energy. ;)

The last three days was very productive and round, because we had
feedbacks and communication each other (together). This is what this Set
needs for go ahead more quickly and maybe with attracting more
artist's ... and very important: the actual artist's happieness. :)

Okay it's not always possible, but I will try to give feedbacks always I
can ...

Daniel: "ANIMO" ;)

I thought I should chime in as to /why/ I think we could play with this
icon. I think the current one, is in contrast to the majority of the

Don't like the effect around the "new" glyph at all. Will give ideas
next week. Ideally, I'd like a set of these proposed at the same time.
Different items like this that appear on folders (whatever) should have
a consistent look and message.

PD: keybinding-properities and desktop-keyboard will need a strong

Everything I mentioned in my 1st post.

But really, you need to listen and understand. *Anything* newly added to
the wiki after I made my 1st post on the subject has a chance of being
missed. If you want it in the next BZR push, send it right to me.
Otherwise, it might not make the update and has a chance of being lost

Ken,

I agree with you and Thorsten. I stripped all of the artwork from the
latest draft with the exception of the Artwork Team banner. Leveraging
the excellent work of the "breathe" submissions, I included the artist
brush from the "applications-graphics" icon. If someone has a better
submission that would be great.

I like this draft the best.
