Is somewhere a tool for convert the ink-svg's to standard-svg's? So if I
understand it well, Cory should convert all svg-files after using the
render-script? Only this way scalable would work as it should work?!

Those 'bugs' should be cleared up by saving as plain svg instead of inkscape
SVG. The fact is that librsvg follows the normal standard for SVGs, and not
Inkscape's own standards.

Good job, Anton, the shadows look much better now.

About the bugs, we talked about it a couple of months ago and it seems to
be an issue with libsvg, the library that Ubuntu uses for render SVG files.
Apparently the Inkscape engine have features that aren't supported in
libsvg.
I'm not sure about this and I don't know how to test the files to make a
proper bug report againts the program with the problem.
Also, I don't know how the Oxygen artists avoid this issue.

Thank you!

I may finalize it even more and make it look even better these days when
I find some free time.

@ Oliver:
These bugs with Inkscape are very bad and I hope they can make something
in order to fix them. Also a global gradient perset would be perfect.

I made some experiments, but no improvements. With rendering to PNG all
goes like a charm. But as SVG some objects don't appears. I don't know
why and I couldn't find the mistake. Seems to be a Bug in Inkscape.
Is no support for Inkscape? - I already haven't looked for it...
Would be fine to know how to get all objects visible as SVG in Nautilus
etc.

I noticed and I have a problem with Inkscape. Sometimes blured obejects
appears in Nautilus and in life use and sometimes some blured objects
not. I think it's happens if you have a object transparent and blured. I
will check it out ... ;)

[ubuntu-art] [Breathe] folder-fix

2009-05-07 Thread Anton Kerezov
I have uploaded a revisited version of the folder to make it look
sharper and fix the shadows because they cannot be spread that far away
from the folder object.

P.S. I have noted that the scalable version may not work in Nautilus so
I you are interested I would ask for help on that topic.\
