I'd like to use the 1st drive. I like that the angle on the perspective isn't as steep as the 2nd and Oxygen icons. Any +1's? It also appears that the sides of the from of the drive need a little work. Something fishy with the angle they are at. I believe the current optical and hardrives do this. I do want to say, that I think with the removal of the media from the optical drive is is an improvement over the old Oxygen one. I think we should examine whether a newly proposed icon (*any* new one not just this drive icon) is actually *better* than what's there and we be careful not to change for changes sake. :) -Cory K. The problem that I have with the first version it's with the small sizes of the icon (32px and below). The perspective doesn't let much space above and below of the icon, so I can't put much details on the small ones and they don't look very clear. Looks pretty real on first sight, but the shadow on the sides isn't right. The headphone port and volume wheel are superfluous. If you want to keep them, you should line them up with the LED and eject button to be on one height. I think the led should be green, as that's the usual color. Orange would rather be used for burning, I'd say.
