I confess that I am totally ignorant of the corporate identity of Ubuntu and that I run Kubuntu -- which makes me a real intruder :) Sorry if my style is out of synch. Perhaps the idea can be "humanized", any resources I can go look over? (read: I'm too lazy to search the wiki. :) ) Here's a few more, trying to make it clearer so it can scale. /d bug2.png Description: PNG image bug3.png Description: PNG image bugreport.svg.tar.gz Description: application/tgz -- ubuntu-art mailing list ubuntu-art@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-art

For Human icon integration, we need to follow the rather 'breadcrumb-like' trail of style that we can piece together from the existing set. Once again, _wonderful_ work. In the menus and dialog title bar it's just decoration, but in the panel tray it should actually connote the 'oops' meaning (a problem has occured). [ubuntu-art] apport icons needed
Hi all, There is an open request for Apport icons. Apport is a system for automatic problem reporting. It intercepts crashes of packaged software, kernel oopses, and failures of package installations/upgrades (with update-manager at least), collects debugging information, asks the user whether or not to send it to us, and creates a Malone bug report with the information. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Apport has some more detailled information. Apport needs icons for various purposes: - panel tray if a crash happened while the user wasn't logged in, or a system process crash - 'Report a bug...' menu entries (both in the Panel and in applications) - icon in the Apport UI dialogs Right now it uses a bomb with questionable copyright for the system tray, bug-buddy's icon for the dialog frames, and the default Gnome 'dialog alert' triangle for the menus. But it would be uber-cool to get a designated nice and descriptive icon for everything. It should convey the meanings 'bug, problem, crash', but needs to scale well down to 16x16 (dialog headers and panel tray). Have Fun!
