Hello Iacopo,

I just approved you for the team.

ok I saw it. Thanks.

Now I'm at Unviersity, I will read the doc tomorrow.

Another question: did you ever build a package from your theme? It needs
to build before you submit it. I'm sorry.

I have some skill packaging some apps in deb file via chechinstall or via
dpkg-deb --build.

It's iacopo-masi .

I resolved the problem that I sent you in the seconod mail
the id is with '-' not with '.'

If you need anything else, let me know.

Ok when I arrive home I try to do something.
If I get trouble, Let's see on irc.

Have a nice day,

you too
Thanks for all.

bzr is quite easy to use, if you run into trouble, either check
http://bazaar-vcs.org/Documentation or check the output of
  * bzr help
  * bzr help
or ask me or ask in #bzr on irc.freenode.net

If that's your first commit to bzr, this won't work. Your package needs
to be in bzr too.

But it's very easy:

cd myproject; bzr init; bzr add *; bzr commit -m "initial commit"

# go to http://launchpad.net/products/+new and register the
# product (package) if it's not there yet.

# add your SSH key to your personal Launchpad profile at:

bzr push
sftp://@bazaar.launchpad.net/~//

# for example:
# bzr push
sftp://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/~telepathy/telepathy-inspector/ubuntu
# (which has the ubuntu packaging of it)

Another question: did you ever build a package from your theme? It needs

Hi Daniel, I've got the impression things are rather quiet on the
artwork front these days, but it's very good to see you managed to
get the automated artwork builder implemented this far. I'm sure that
the right people will take notice of this and start fiddling with it.

I'll be checking it out myself soon as well, so thanks a lot for the
heads up.

Sincerely,

Frank

[ubuntu-art] Automatic Artwork Builder

2006-12-05 Thread Daniel Holbach
Hello everybody,

to make updating and test-building artwork packages easier, the idea of
building a service that handles the task came up. I worked on this
automatic artwork builder and you can find instructions on how to use it
over here:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/AutomaticArtworkBuilderInstructions

A prerequisite for using this service is that you use bzr for your
package and that the package builds for you. You can find a list of
artwork packages that are all in bzr and should all be interesting to
look at and learn from here:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Artwork/Documentation/InBzr

The server pulls from your bzr branch every half an hour, so at :00
and :30 new and updated packages should be ready.

Of course does the builder still have some bugs and some features we
identified as important and interesting are still missing. These
features are listed on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArtBuilderImprovements

If you run into a bug, or problem or have a suggestion, please let me
know. Also if the instructions are unclear, please drop me a mail or
discuss on this mailing list.

Have a nice day,
 Daniel
