In order to remove this feeling you should add the bright colors or some shades of orange in other parts of the wallpaper. The effect will be smth like the blue sky "giving" some of it's color to other objects such as water, snow, etc. but more intensive. Otherwise keep up the good work! I like the fact that we are doing abstract wallpapers. A jackalope is not an abstract concept, it should stay out, it would take away from the wallpaper. Nice, just a thought, maybe if you colud try to incorporate a small jackalope in the grey area would be cool, goes with system versioning and all ;) however you don't really want it to obvious, solta more of a shadow fox - Dum vita est, spes est.
