[ubuntu-art] Re : Wallpapers and Tonic's Theme
I personnally don't like Tonic's theme, first because I'm actually using the same (or nearly) Emerald theme, and closing a windows is quite stressing after a while, the buttons being that small. Second, I don't really like the colors mix. I don't mean it's really bad, but I don't see it as the default theme. Concerning photos as wallpapers, I do think it's a great idea. And I must admit that's the best point so far I remember of Windows Vista. Cheers, Steph. I've noticed that the included wallpapers are always curve designs or something that can be done with Gimp/Photoshop..Is there some problem with photos? I think that maybe there exist some some excellent photographers here, and so, why dismiss that talent in the team? Just a thougth.. Cheers! Re: [ubuntu-art] Re : Wallpapers and Tonic's Theme
yeah, I agree with kwii about the problems that photos might bring to the desktop, I've experienced some those, but with some expertise and with the talents that we have here we could overcome that... Re: [ubuntu-art] Re : Wallpapers and Tonic's Theme
About the buttons on the window decoration. At the moment the prelighting doesn't include a button frame. I think adding the frame for mouse over will solve your problem as the click target is still the standard metacity size even though the symbol is small. It would be nice if Ubuntu added a new photo series for the wallpapers. The space ones are good :) but something different would be nice. Perhaps Saharan stills would work, or some other theme, human living? tonic On Thu, 2007-11-15 at 18:41 +0100, Steph wrote: > I personnally don't like Tonic's theme, first because I'm actually > using the same (or nearly) Emerald theme, and closing a windows is > quite stressing after a while, the buttons being that small.
