Re: [ubuntu-art] Tropic: Human or Tangerine?

2006-07-16 Thread Klaus Bitto
I'm not part of any team here... um.. do I have a vote then? I'd vote for Human. Not only do I like it more, I do also think it fits better with "Tropic" as an idea and with the new glossy look in general.

But, I have run into a little Icon related problem: which one should I
use? So I have decided to ask all of you on the mailing list today:
Human or Tangerine?

Tangerine from my POV - we have one great Humany theme aready, but not
enough to show off tangerine

Plus, Tangerine and Tropic sound better together :P

Just a small clarification, I think the Art Council will choose which
themes are included in Edgy. Troy, could you add a deadline for that
decision to your Edgy Art release management plan? Thanks!

Since Human is the default in dapper and is used in other themes, users
might feel more comfortable with it.

The folders are also 'brighter' which seems to fit well with the Tropic
theme :-)

Kind Regards,
