updated, with a 'light' background, tiny use of dots. 3 new dept. The color
for system and developers is different, because there is a difference
between installing those kinds of programs, and I thought there should be a
difference presented to the user.

That's a good start.

The categories are probably the same
, though the
label may be different.

Examples: Activity Journal, Alarm Clock, KTimer, LeafPad, Disk Usage
Analyzer, Docky, Gourmet Recipe Manager, Kate, Waterfall font viewer,
Zipper.

Yes. Virtual keyboards, screen readers, magnifiers, etc.

Thanks

[ubuntu-art] Ubuntu Software Center department screens

2010-12-10 Thread Saleel Velankar
Got tired of studying (read: about to hurt someone); and decided to give
this a go: http://www.flickr.com/photos/islington/5250369749/
{LARGE IMAGE]

I decided to emulate the cloudstyle since it seems to have worked a bit. the
colors are just placeholders ofcourse, this is just a where my head is at
and what I am doing, please give me some feedback type email. these are all
svgs, so scaling should be less problematic.

A question for matthew: what kind of programs are under accessories, and
system? cant check since I am on kubuntu. Also I am assuming that universal
access is just accessibility programs?
