 Kenneth,

What do you think about setting the gtkbutton size to 16,16 in the gtk
theme? It makes the buttons look more compact, which I'm sure users on a
lower resolution (netbooks, laptops) would appreciate. The quality of the
16px Human icons seem good enough for this use.

Look here for a before/after comparison:

I have included this change in the latest package in my ppa (for jaunty and
karmic). Let's test it out and see how it looks and feels.

[ubuntu-art] updated packages

2009-07-10 Thread Kenneth Wimer
Hi all,

I've updated a few packages (so far: human icon theme, human theme, added the
humanity icon theme) and included them in my PPA for easy
installation/updating. Take a look, install it and let me know :)

All the details can be found here:

Looking good ;). The only problem is that the human-theme needs a
version bump for the Karmic package.

c...@inspiron:~/Desktop$ apt-cache policy human-theme
human-theme:
  Installed: 0.28.9
  Candidate: 0.28.9
  Version table:
 *** 0.28.9 0
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
 0.28.8ubuntu2 0
500 http://ppa.launchpad.net karmic/main Packages

Yeah, I missed a bzr update...funny enough I chose exactly the same version
number as Daniel did...I fixed it in the Jaunty version and will update the
karmic package accordingly. I already commited the change to bzr but forgot to
update the ppa source as well. Thanks for noticing :)
