Re: [ubuntu-art] Compiz desktop switcher color

2008-02-23 Thread Piotr Zaryk
I disagree. Orange suits default Ubuntu theme most and the first influence
is most important. If someone will be able to change the theme than will
also know how to change compiz colours.

Ideally - compiz colours should change dynamically to fit the actual theme.
I don't think that sch feature could be implemented in Hardy so we have to
resolve that problem another way. Maybe someone could contact compiz team?

I think that the best approach is to use a color which shows off the ability
nicely without being too much of a warning tone like orange or red would be.

That's right. If that's not possible, maybe those colors should simply
be white or gray - it would fit any theme.

Yes, that would be perfect but I'm not sure if such function is implemented.

Ideally, shouldn't compiz select these colours based on the current

Example colors for resize:

I think the default settings should be changed to suit the Ubuntu theme.

OK, but I mean to set the Ubuntu-like colours in compiz by default in Hardy.
(resizing windows are also blue, but i think should be orange to fit the
Ubuntu palette).
