If you want to try doing it yourself, rather than waiting for someone else to come along and take on what looks to be a rather large coding project, you could consider making it a pixmap theme. You can do it 'by hand' with the Gimp and the gtkrc file, or last I knew Thomas Wood was working on a GUI editor for Pixmap themes http://blogs.gnome.org/thos/2007/10/16/the-parsing/ Perhaps get in touch and see if he needs people to test it? Then you can do this yourself and not have to worry about guideing someone else through your vision Hope that helps, Who -- ubuntu-art mailing list ubuntu-art@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-art

Re: [ubuntu-art] Final Version of the Clear Mockup
This theme just keeps on getting better! I would think you would have to use an engine like xl_cheeselooks though. I also like your idea for the main menu, It should have your name next to it, or incorporated somewhere! -- Emo Philips - "I was the kid next door's imaginary friend." -- ubuntu-art mailing list ubuntu-art@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-art
Re: [ubuntu-art] Final Version of the Clear Mockup
I like the design... but I think it's too "3d" for my liking... if you could trim it down from being "3d" and adding more of an edge to it, I think we will all benefit. Re: [ubuntu-art] Final Version of the Clear Mockup
I like the mockup. One thing though, for some reason, the unfocused window draws my attention more than the active window does, and that's not good! :) Maybe you can try to just desaturate the active window color instead?
