No word as of yet as to what the desire is for Jaunty. Your idea sounds good and I would go ahead and put it together. There is a GTK theme on gnome-look title Human Murrine which is Human upgraded to the newer Murrine engine. I don't know if any changes were made to Metacity. I will say I looked at the Human Metacity theme and it is expansive. The authors took great care in addressing the details.
