Warning Messages when installing updates
Hello All When installing updates I often get the warnings : *** atk-bridge-WARNING **: AT_SPI_REGISTRY was not started at session startup. atk-bridge-WARNING **: IOR not set. atk-bridge-WARNING **: Could not locate registry *** Can anyone tell me what these warnings mean and are they serious ? Re: Warning Messages when installing updates
It probably isnt terrible, because its a WARNING not a an ERROR or a FATAL, i dont know what the warning is from or for though. Does it happen when a specific package is being updated? or when a certain package is part of the update? I've seen some reports to be dubious about kogan, but more info here: http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/?p=12865 On 16 April 2011 13:16, Andrew and...@powter.net.au wrote: -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Great news everyone, Kogan has just started selling laptops with 11.04 on them. Re: Ubuntu laptops!
What we need is for someone like http://zareason.com/ or http://www.system76.com/ to start selling laptops in Australia. A dedicated linux/Ubuntu computer maker will provide better hardware and support than an online retailer who sells lots of different stuff.
